In this contemporary adaptation of Margery William’s classic children’s book, Ferdie, the little velveteen rabbit with a big heart, comes alive through the love and imagination of a small boy named Jeffrey.
At night, when Jeffrey’s toys magically awaken, Ferdie meets a host of electronic toys and special stuffed animals that make Ferdie question his place in the big toy box of life. Lost in the ‘real world’ Ferdie later encounters an entourage of hilarious hip hoppin’ street bunnies who rap about being real rabbits and a gentle homeless man lost on the fringes of society, also seeking his way home. In this heartwarming tale filled with memorable characters and rockin’ original songs, Ferdie ultimately finds his special place in Jeffrey’s heart and becomes a real rabbit.
