Goldie (a fish story)
Originally produced in 1994, Critics and audiences loved Goldie, and you will, too! 4 Weeks of Camp! 8 Performances! Lot's of FUN! Be a Star this Summer! At least that is Goldie's plan. Leaving her parents back at the farm, she swims off to Hollyreef to achieve her dreams of being a movie star! She lands an agent, meets a colorful cast of characters at Planet Hollyreef like Eelvis, the make-up artist, Perch, the slimy swindler Barry Cuda and many more. But the biggest star of all, Stella Divine, doesn't want to share the spotlight. When she hears Goldie sing, she sets out to destroy her with the help of undersea crooks and con men. A bluesy mermaid helps Goldie navigate the currents, but in the end, she has to make some tough decisions about the price of stardom. This Summer Musical Production will stretch students skills and abilities in acting, singing, and dancing.
