One of the most memorable and exciting adventure stories of all time. At the heart of the story are Westley, the daring farm boy turned hero, and Princess Buttercup, whose true love is put to the test. Along their journey, they encounter the charming swordsman Inigo Montoya, the lovable giant Fezzik, the cunning Vizzini, and the villainous Prince Humperdinck. The story is brought to life by a colorful cast of pirates, nobles, soldiers, and storybook characters, each adding humor, adventure, and heart to the tale.
Filled with sword fights, daring rescues, memorable one-liners, and larger-than-life characters, The Princess Bride is a magical theatrical adventure that proves true love, friendship, and courage can overcome any obstacle.
These performances are fully supported by local industry professionals, including designers for lighting, sound, music, costumes, and props. While the shows are open to the public, the audience usually consists of family, friends, neighbors, and educators, which creates a warm and supportive environment for our young performers.

What do students learn in class?
Our full-scale play production classes are a fantastic way for young performers to build confidence, learn new skills, and make great friends, all while putting on an incredible show with a full set, costumes, lights, props, the works!
These semester-long classes meet once a week at a location close to you and culminate in two live performances at Trinity Street Playhouse. Each class includes instruction on acting and character development, all taught in a supportive and energetic environment.
Students will also experience the full theatre process with:

Walk Thru & Costume Fittings: A visit to the theatre to explore the set, get measured by our costume designer, and try on their costumes.

Technical Rehearsals: Full dress rehearsals including lights, sound, costumes and props developed by theatre professionals.

Live Performances: The grand finale—two fully produced shows for family and friends to enjoy in a 100-seat theatre.
These shows are more than just fun—they're confidence-building, community-celebrated experiences that create lifelong memories!

Ages 8-15
This class is for students of any skill level. We have students with no experience to students that have done 10 shows in these classes. The large age range shows off the varied characters included in this hilarious comedy!
