Technical Theatre Internship
Ages 15-22
Our semester-long Scenic & Prop Design Internship Program is an opportunity for high school students and recent graduates to gain professional experience bringing stage environments to life. This is a hands-on internship for those interested in the art of building the world behind the curtain. Interns will work directly with the Technical Director/Scenic Designer on live productions, developing their practical building skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of the technical aspects of theater. This program is ideal for aspiring theater technicians, designers, and makers with a passion for creating immersive experiences through physical spaces.
This is an unpaid internship. Interns can earn school credit where applicable. kidsActing may have paid opportunities for interns working as crew on shows.

SCHEDULE
Interns are expected to commit 5-15 hours per week.
