Join us for a hands-on Maker Workshop Series designed for students to create, explore, and learn together! Perfect for creative kids looking to learn new skills in a fun, supportive environment. Each of our workshops will focus on growing our understanding of new materials or techniques useful in technical theater and beyond. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get messy and creative!

Paper-making
Sunday, February 22, 11am-2pm
In this workshop students will have the opportunity to dive into the exciting world of scratch paper-making! Students will explore the wide variety of materials and techniques that can be used to create paper pulp, then get the chance to process and press their own handmade paper sheets.
Fake Cakes
Saturday, March 28, 11am-2pm
In this workshop students will explore techniques to create some of the most useful items in prop-making: fake food! Students will learn how to take ordinary materials (foam, cardboard, and spackle), and turn them into extraordinary faux confections barely distinguishable from the real thing.​
